This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their private information is being used online. We do not collect information from visitors to our site.

When do we collect information?

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us when you submit information through a form based on a specific request or purpose, signing up for newsletter/activities. Non-personally identifiable information will be collected through the Google Analytics.

We use your data for limited purposes and do not share it with any unauthorized third parties. Specific uses are defined below.

We use data we collect to send newsletters, or information about workshops, meetups, and other Digital Citizen Myanmar Activities (if you have opted in for this information). We may also use the data to send you email communications, such as information about our activities or website updates.

To understand and assess the interests, wants, and changing needs in the community, to improve our programs, activities, and services. 

How do we protect your information?

We only provide articles and information and never ask for credit card numbers. We use Malware Scanning or SSL certificate and all the information we collected (mentioned above) is sent directly to us.

Do we use 'cookies'?

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since the browser is a little different, look at your browser's Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to any unauthorized parties.

With the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 25th May 2018, Digital Citizen Myanmar privacy policy is inspired by GDPR in all areas of our platform.
